My Favourite Places in Linköping

My dear readers,

The city of Linköping is one that has grown close to my heart, and the people and university life are major factors for this sweet feeling. However, credit must be given where due, to the beautiful city of Linköping itself. So, let me talk about some of my favourite places in Linköping.

1. The lab: Call me nerdy but I love the lab. It is genuinely one of my most favourite places in Linköping. It is where I get to practice what I learn in lectures and learn more about science. My inner STEM girl can grow and continue taking her steps towards research for a better world.

2. Stora Torget/Trädgårdstorget: The city square is so beautiful and cosy with many shops, cafes and restaurants all around.

3. Trädgårdsförening: This park gives a very fresh vibe to me. You can read a book under the shade, or have a picnic with your friends. During spring, the tulips blossom so beautifully and its a treat to the eyes, truly!

4. Studenthuset: I know, I am so nerdy. I have fun study sessions with friends, bake in whatever sun shines upon us and have a great stair workout (get it because there are so many floors🤣)

5. The woods: As a person who loves staying active, the woods in Lambohov and Vallaskogen have really allowed me to connect with nature, get my daily dose of fresh air and some steps in. Going on a walk or run n the woods is really serene and you should really try it sometime if you have not already. Biking is a great alternative as well.

6. Campushallen: I really enjoy going to Campushallen both in Valla and Ebbepark. The group trainings are so motivating, and I love playing badminton here as well. The gym feels like a comfortable space and everyone is trying to become a better version of themselves everyday, me included.

7. GOTO 10: This has been a recent discovery of mine (shoutout Allan) but is just amazing and you all need to visit it. They have comfortable study spaces for everyone and the interior design is so nice. GUYS, a robot welcomes you at the door?! Keep doing what you are @goto10_linkoping
