As this beautiful year comes to an end, we also come very close to the end of our application period for intake 2023. Congratulations to  all of you who have already done the application, you have done the first round successfully. However for the ones who are yet to do, we still have time 🙂 .

The application deadline for autumn semester 2023 is 16th January, 2023. Since, we are approaching very fast to the deadline, this can get panicking and we may miss some vital information or do incomplete application. Key things to remember:
1. Every university and program has their specific requirement.
The requirements can be very different based on university for similar programs. Also, different programs at the same university can also have different requirements. Don’t forget to cross-check once with the requirements and mandatory documents.

2. Requirements may differ based on country
For example, few universities may demand certified translations of your documents. So, if your documents are not in English, you may have to get it translated.

3. You upload all documents at one place
On University Admissions webpage, you upload all the documents at a common place. So, if you need a cover letter and if it written specifically for a university, I suggest you to add university name in the name of the document like, “cover_letter_abhijeet_liu.pdf “. Basically, any document that is university specific, try to subscript it with university name.

4. Application deadline is different than application fee deadline or document completion deadline.
16th Jan, 2023 is the deadline to do the application. However, if you need to pay the application fee, you can pay by 1st February, 2023. If you belong to EU/EEA, you can submit the fee exempt status document by 1st February. Also, if you have any missing document, you can still upload by 1st February, 2023. The key here is for you to submit your application on University Admissions by 16th Jan. Check this link for key dates: click here

It is always better to do the application at the earliest, however due to some reasons we fail to do so which is completely fine. I submitted my application on the last day at 23:40, which I definitely not recommend you to do 😉 . But, here I am studying at LiU. So, don’t panic, you can still do it.
