On a last Wednesday afternoon, the 22nd of May, the Formula Student LiU Association held its much-anticipated Roll Out event at the vibrant Studenthuset.

It was heart-warming to see the area completely packed with enthusiastic supporters, including our families, friends, and sponsors. Their presence made the event not just a showcase of technological innovation but also a celebration of community and shared passion. The atmosphere was electric (pun intended!), with everyone eager to get a first look at the car that we’ve poured hundreds of hours into.

This year’s project culminated in the creation of a driveable electric race car, a testament to the hard work, dedication, and creativity of our team. The roll out provided us with an opportunity to highlight the sophisticated design and advanced engineering that went into building a vehicle capable of competing at high levels. Each component of the car was designed with precision, and the final assembly reflects the technical skills and teamwork of our talented members.

The unveiling of the car is just the beginning. The real test awaits at the Formula Student Netherlands (FSN) and Formula Student East (FSE) competitions. Our goals are set high, and with the support we’ve seen, we are more motivated than ever to perform exceptionally. We believe that our car has what it takes to stand out among the best, thanks to its innovative design and robust engineering.

As we gear up for the upcoming competitions, we carry with us not only a powerful race car but also the encouragement and expectations of our supporters. Stay tuned as we take on the challenge at FSN and FSE, where we aim to showcase the prowess of our engineering and the spirit of our team.

Go team LiU!
