I’m delighted to report that my thesis presentation yesterday was a great success. I was very pleased with my performance and the favorable feedback I received.
Today, I attended a job presentation session at the university, which I had received an email about a week ago. The event, titled “Switch to Sweden,” was held at the Studenthuset. It focused on the job prospects for international students in Sweden after graduation.
During the lecture, they highlighted the need of learning Swedish and knowing local culture in order to better integrate into society. They also emphasized the need of adapting your CV to the position you’re seeking for and strengthening your communication skills to expand your professional network.
Following the talk, we enjoyed some fika and received a brochure with further information. This program was really valuable to me, and I strongly recommend attending similar workshops if you are about to graduate and start looking for work.
