I Went Skiing!
Hello guys!
Today, I wanted to tell you about one of the most fun days I’ve had during winters here in Linköping.
As I’m sure you know, winters here can be very dark, and you may not want to go out a lot, but once in a while you get the perfect chance to do something different!
Just last week, after quite some days of “warm” weather, it snowed again! And by “snowed”, I mean that the city got completely covered in snow in the span of two hours, and when you’re not expecting it to fall this fast it can be quite a hassle. For example, I had to walk back with my bike from CampusHallen, and this is what happened…
But, I mean… The view was still pretty much amazing! It looked like a movie
Anyway, since it snowed, a few of my friends and I decided to go skiing! There’s a small but very nice place in Katrineholm where you have access to a couple of slopes!
We rented all the necessary equipment, and it cost us only 160 sek (ski-pass included)! We got there at 10 and stayed there until they closed the ski-lift at 16, and it was a really nice day. We raced down, did jumps, took our time, and since I’ve skied since I was a small kid, this was particularly peaceful and nice. I really recommend it.
Look how happy I am!Even if you don’t know how to ski, I really believe that it’s still worth it, because you can try on easy slopes, and if it’s definitely not for you, you can go in the cafe and have a hot chocolate and just enjoy the view!
Hope you’ll check this place out!
