My dear readers,

We are all different. Some of us like to read, some of us like to write, some of us like to watch and observe. The rest of us, well listening is our happy place. Whether its an audiobook, a podcast or your friend’s 20 minute long voice message, listening to voices is always cool, it helps time pass quickly.

I will keep it short and try to sell you our Fika With Us podcast at LiU. It is a podcast targeted towards international students that are moving to LiU for their studies, and many of the international ambassadors including myself are invited to speak on it, by the podcast host.

Being a podcast host is probably one of my most favourite activities to do as an ambassador, being in the podcast studio feels very professional and the equipment always fascinates me. Also, it just feels like a nice conversation with friends and I personally feel like I learn so much from just listening to others around me and their experiences.

If you’re a new international student is planning to move to LiU and study in Sweden, or if if you’re already studying here, you should listen to the Fika With Us podcast. You can find various different episodes about travel, different programmes, how to spend your first weeks, where to buy furniture, what parties to go to, how to save money, how to handle the winter and much much more. Sometimes, reading might not be as engaging so listening to this while carrying on with your daily activities can give you some realistic insight on life at LiU and the overall atmosphere it has to offer. I highly recommend listening to our podcasts, you can just pick one you like or go crazy on a marathon and listen to all of them.
