Hi again!

Today I am back with another post about Navitas, the student association for Sustainable Development. In my last blog post, I wrote about what Navitas is, what they do, and how I got into their Travel Committee. Well, on Sunday the 26th of November, we had our first trip!

So, as the Travel Committee, you organize 2 trips a year. One small day trip and one big one (an international 4-day one). This year, we organized a trip to Motala, where we rented a relaxation area at the local swimming hall. Every member of Navitas could come and we were eighteen people in the end! We started our day by meeting up at the train station, nice and early at 9:30 on a Sunday morning. We took the 40-minute train ride to Motala and enjoyed the sun slowly rising. In Motala, we took a little walk to the swimming hall and there we were nicely greeted by the staff and they showed us the relaxation area. I must say, I was very pleasantly surprised by it! The area was quite luxurious and had a lot of amenities like 2 saunas, a cold pool, a coffee/tea machine, everything you need for a footbath and shower.  There was also a large room that was heated up, where you could just sit and relax. We spent three hours there, which you think would be too much but it definitely wasn’t. We were all super relaxed after that.

Then, we walked across town to the harbor and enjoyed a really nice lunch at Hamnkrogen, a restaurant right at the water. We pre-ordered our food so it was served directly when we got there. We were also super lucky with the weather, as it was nice and cold but sunny! So, naturally, we also had to take some pictures! We went back by train when the sun went down, so we could watch the sunset on the train.

All in all, it was a lovely spa trip and I think everybody really enjoyed it!
