Check-ins from my summer Vacation.
Ah, summer, the lovely hot season with sun-kissed days, endless adventures, and cherished memories. As the warm breeze gives way to the crisp air of fall, it is the start of our new second round of blogging here. Also, the beginnings of my new academic years considered my favorite times to reflect on the incredible moments and experiences that made my summer unforgettable. By the end of my last spring semester, I was planning to fill my summer planner with exploration, relaxation, and plenty of new discoveries.
Visiting my Family and friends back in Egypt: No summer is complete without visiting my family, friends and all my loved ones in Egypt. Since this is my first summer abroad and my first time to visit Egypt after one year, I was really very exciting and thriving for the family, friends, Egyptian food, my old favorite places and for sure the very sunny days. One and half month was very well spent getting recharged by all the love and warm memories and moments.
Beach Bliss: Whoever visited Egypt before, knows that Egypt beaches are one of the most exquisite beaches in the whole world. One of the highlights of my summer was a trip to Hurghada; the breathtaking Beach-city with its glistening waves, golden sands, and the sun setting over the horizon creating a picture-perfect scene. I spent the trip with my close friends whose one of the come from London all the way just for this trip. Days were spent in lounging by the beach, listening to the soothing sound of the waves, and recreating our favorite memories again together. It was the ultimate escape from the daily grind.
Nature Retreat: Escaping the hustle and bustle of Egypt by coming back to Sweden again to spend the other half of my vacation here. My retreatment was a lot of cozy times in the woods surrounded by towering trees and the soothing sounds of nature, I reconnected with the serenity of the great outdoors. Hiking, stargazing, and fruits picking, made this escape a perfect way to recharge.
My summer job: My coming back to Sweden time was not chosen randomly, but actually was selected based on the starting time of my summer job as a student ambassador working with the. It was a very great experience to be the one who helps new student who are trying to figure out how life works in Linköping University
Learning and Growth: While summer is about leisure, it’s also an opportunity for my personal growth. I dedicated time to discover myself more, develop my Swedish, starting meditation habit, diving into photography and capturing the beauty of my adventures. This newfound passion allowed me to see the world through a different lens, quite literally.
As the leaves begin to change and the days grow shorter, I can’t help but feel grateful for my life seasons, the incredible summer I’ve had and the upcoming windy fall that is coming. This summer was a symphony of a lot of experiences that will stay with me forever. I hope you also had a memorable summer and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Until next year, summer!
