Greetings to everyone is reading this blog post!

Two days ago, I just submitted the seminar version of my thesis. The whole journey has been so stressful to me, but It was also enjoyable at some points, and I have learned a lot during this the whole process of writing it. The learning outcomes were not only laying on the scientific knowledge but part of it was also laying on knowing new things about myself. The thing that I knew about myself was how consistent and fighter person am I even when there is no light at the end 😊. During the thesis process I struggled a lot to translate everything in mind into paper but what helped me is that I was trying and trying every day without losing motivation or hope! Because I was reminding myself every morning about my purpose in life and why I came to Sweden!

Here are some tricks that emerged from the thesis process that might be helpful to you when you are writing your thesis.

Never underestimate any idea that comes to your mind!

Yes, never think in that way because most of the ideas that I thought they were not good for my topic, they got supported by my supervisor, however they just needed some improvements. And here is the thing, just share what you have in your mind with your supervisor and run a discussion about it then you will find it was worth to give it a chance!

Always have a small notebook beside your bed!

I know it sounds weird 😊, but all interesting ideas and thoughts just come to you when you just deciding to sleep. Sometimes I walk up on an idea or something that I missed to include or to think about. Also, when you are lecture, talk, or even with your friends, sometimes you get inspired from other things that are not really relevant, but these things just help you navigate other ideas and thoughts. Maybe you can use your phone to note down whatever idea comes to your mind, but for me I always like the old fashion school😊

Keep many copies of your thesis document on different locations!

This is very important, because every day I needed to develop my thesis and change things, but sometimes I just regret these changes and I want to go back to the previous draft. So, it was helpful to me to just make a new copy every day from the thesis draft and give it new date so, whenever I want to go back it can be possible and easy.
