As of Linköping it has 3 big libraries in different campuses , one in Campus Norrköping Library, Medical Library in US campus, and Valla Library in student house. They provide a lot of services for all students, not only to find a specific book or scientific article on their digital platform, but also there a lot of computers where you can use them, study places some of them are so quite and others are for student discussions. Also, there are a lot of microwaves where you can heat your food.

You can also reserve and borrow books for specific time. Beside that you can also book a meeting room if you are looking for more privacy and quite space and it fit for 8 people at a time.

Also, they provide service for students who are about to write their thesis. This can be through book a librarian to help you improve your search technique or to get an introduction to a reference management program. Additionally, if you ever have a question, you can always chat with them online through the university website from Monday to Fridays, 10.00 to 16.00. and for detailed info or specialized question, you can also send them an email and they will respond back at the soonest.

Moreover, they also provide seminar that could help students through their learning journey. For example, they organize seminars to advice students on their thesis for master’s and PhD to provide insights on the below:

• Thesis templates
• ISBN and other numbers
• Plagiarism check
• Spikblad – what is that?
• Publishing in DiVA
• Leaving printed theses to the library
• How to disseminate your research

At the beginning of my studies, I was thinking I will not be able to study in the library because I need to be fully concentrated while studying and having people around you that are talking or moving will of course distract my focus. However, after I tried to study there, I found myself so productive and focused and that is because of the vibes there as everyone is studying so you will get motivated and encouraged from them.

Do you also have good libraries in your universities? If yes, do you spend good times there?
