Moments of my life in Sweden on film

I have always loved capturing little moments in pictures, and a few years ago I bought my first analog camera at a second hand market and have fallen in love with film photography ever since. So when I moved to Sweden in August I brought one of my point and shoot cameras, that is small and light and easy to take on every adventure.

The most enticing thing about shooting on film is probably the knowledge that your shots are limited. That you captured a moment in just one picture and then you move on and hope it looks exactly like what you pictured in your head and then some. It’s always thrilling to get your developed film back, because most of the time I have completely forgotten what I have taken pictures of in the first place.

Just recently I got a few rolls of film developed so I thought I could share some of the moments I captured with you. Let’s start with some snap shots from days spent in Norrköping:

I love these pictures, they always bring me back to all the summer adventures and make me wish for spring and summer days to arrive soon. Now, a few snapshots from my trips to Stockholm:

And a few more from hiking trips and random weekend adventures:

I am so grateful for all of the experiences I’ve had so far in Sweden. And for all the people that make them so memorable. I hope you liked this little glimpse into my life here, and are eager to explore everything Sweden has to offer also.

Anyway, I hope all of you are doing well, talk to you soon, //M.
