Welcome to cook like a MasterChef episode two! For this blog I decided to give you an overview on how to plan a meal prep that can help you stay up for a week in advance. If you want to stay healthy and have ready food while you are so busy with your studies, then you just need to follow this plan to not make cooking like a big deal for you.

Usually on Saturday and Sunday I set some time to shop for groceries and plan what I want or need to eat during the week. I am following this plan usually when I have a busy week a head of me. First, I sit down and write a list of the things I need to buy to make sure I have at least six ready boxes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
For me, breakfast is the easiest meal that I usually don’t think of a lot. I buy eggs, serials, yogurt, crackers, cheese, and bread for that I estimate would be enough for a whole week. And every morning that take from the fridge what I feel I want to eat.

The most difficult meal in my opinion is lunch as most of the time I am either in the university or I am studying in my room, and in both cases I don’t want to distract myself and just make sure I have ready meals that I just heat them and eat. SO, this specifically is the meal that I do the meal prep for it. When I go groceries, I buy two to three kinds of vegetables, rice, pasta, and sometimes meat of my preference.

During weekends, I usually cook the pasta, rice, and clean the vegetable and cook them. Then when I have everything cooked and ready, I just prepare the boxes and store them in the freezer, and every morning I just get one box out and defrost it on the lunch time.
Sometimes I follow the lunch plan for dinner as week. But since I love baking a lot and it makes me feel disconnected from everything, I prefer to bake bread or pies for dinner and have with it some warm soup.

I hope this plan can give you an inspiration to enjoy cooking for yourself and plan some meal prep in advance when you are busy.
