Last week, the temperatures dropped under zero.
Some Swedish cities as well as many other Europeans got snow, but here in Linköping everything was just frosted.
We can’t however deny that we had beautiful sunny days. Cold, but sunny.

The winter darkness we have had difficulties getting used to suddenly became illuminated by light installations in the city.

This weekend was also the first weekend of advent. The Gamla Julmarknad (old city Christmas market) opened and was bustling with people. The atmosphere was really nice and it smelled like candied almonds, glögg and saffran buns.

For those interested in this market, it’s gonna be around also next weekend: 4-5 Dec. from 11 to 16!
