How to get there

The path is flat most of the way, with a small uphill near the end. It is completely separated from the cars.
You’ll be seeing fields that are characteristic of our agricultural region, as well as a nice view of Lake Roxen.
Once you arrived in Berg, two options are possible: either ride along the locks to enjoy a beautiful view of the canal or go down to the side of the lake.

One way: 12kms – approximately 40 min.

About Göta Kanal

Berget Slussar is the meeting point of Göta Kanal and Lake Roxen. The entire canal is 190kms long with 58 locks. In summer, they are full of boats.  On the side of the lake, you’ll find tables, barbecues, bathrooms as well as a beautiful sand beach.
Like us, enjoy the sun while you swim, eat and read or study on the lake border. Staying for the afternoon makes the trip really worth it!
