Ciao!
Today I’ll share with you four of my favourite places around Norrköping.
I hope you’ll like them, and you’ll find the time to visit them!

To see: Lake Skiren

Skiren is one of the most beautiful lakes around Norrköping – and trust me, I spent the entire summer going around trying to find my favourite one!

Here the google maps’ link with the directions.
The water is clean (looks like being in the Mediterranean Sea…I swear!)

I have been to Skiren several times this summer, sometimes just for one day, sometimes I camped there for some nights. It’s a special place.

To see: the Archipelago

The Archipelago it’s an incredible place in the east coast, close to Arkösund. That part of the coast is a beautiful natural reserve. You can easily go there with the bus, or a train, and then rent a kayak in one of the places in front of the sea. Here the place where I rented the kayaks.

I have been there once this summer, and was special. We rented the kayaks for two days, and spent one night in one island…. We were the only one there! You need to be a little bit organised to go to the Archipelago, especially if you’re planning to spend one night there…
I would not recommend you to go camp for the first time in your life in a place like that one!

To see: Lake Ågelsjön

Ågelsjön is one of my favourite lakes if I really want to quickly jump into the water during a hot afternoon…
Here the google maps’ link. It’s an “easy lake”, because it’s close to the city and you can go with the bike or you can take the bus..

Usually during summer it’s full of people, but you can easily walk a little bit around the lake – there is a beautiful path that goes around the lake – until you don’t find a spot for you.

To see: Sauna at Uppern Glottern

If you already know me, and you followed my personal blog at LiU last year, you probably will recognise this place… Was one of the first posts I wrote last year, and actually one of the first places I have been in Norrköping’s nature on a cold day in October.
It’s still one of my favourite places, probably because in my memories it will be forever my first real contact with the Swedish nature!

Here the link with the old post. The place now changed a little bit, it has been renovated during the summer, but I didn’t went yet there…I’ll share with you photos as soon as I’ll find a free slot to go back there!

The only thing that changed is the price: since the municipality renovated it, now it’s a little bit more expensive.
The cost for a three-hours slot it’s now 50kr (during the week), and 100kr (during weekend).

Trust me, the price totally worth it!
And above all, if you go with friends, you can share the cost together!

I hope you liked the four suggestions, let me know if you went there or if you have more beautiful places to share with me!

Tanti abbracci,

Asia
