One of the most existing characteristics of LiU, are the opportunities and extra activities that you can do while you study a long term programme. There are always activities within the university or other organizations in which you can participate.

In the SMIO programme, there are many surprises. One of them is called SUGAR Network or DAMD project. And today I am happy to say that, this year I am part of the project team representing LiU at a global scale. Nevertheless, with every new project comes new responsibilities. Patience, teamwork, a lot of creativity and resilience is necessary if you want to be successful. Here is a video that shows a brief introduction of what the SUGAR Network is and if you are SMIO student (future student) or maybe you are in another programme but, you would like to apply for next year.

So this is how my LiU life is going to look now. This is the first kick-off challenge before starting the real project and, here is my team working in a prototype. So this is one the best parts at LiU, innovate, have fun and build new prototypes that maybe one day can exist somewhere around the world.

Challenge accepted:

Create a Covid-19 safe dining pop-up experience

Brainstorm session

Materials to create the prototype

Final result: The Rollin’ Cousine Supreme pop-up restaurant!
